Tiny Tips- Bring out your Eye Color...Men

So I notice when girls wear mascara, sometimes it covers their eyes instead of enhancing them. And guys: Well you don't wear mascara, usually...but don't think your eyes don't need a little enhancing too.

When we put a little moisture on our eyelashes, they look defined, slick and natural which helps give the color of your eye a special "pop".

Keep your lashes looking moisturized using these simple products:

Any type of clear mascara

Lube up with some Vaseline!

Any type of clear Lip Balm

How it's done:

1. Take your mascara, Vaseline or lip balm and gently lather your left and right pointer fingers with a little bit of moisture.
2. Like the movement of mascara, take the moisture on your pointer fingers and gently rub the moisture onto your eyelashes starting with the base and extending outward.

Do this once or twice to moisturize your eyelashes and make your eye color "pop!"

Mascaras: Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara, Covergirl Professional Natural Lash
Vaseline: Seriously, you know where to buy Vaseline.
Lip Balms: Kiehl's Lip Balm #1, Burts Bees, Classic Chapstick

Permanent Products: unisex tinted moisturizers

The other week I let my boyfriend in on a little secret about my favorite tinted moisturizer ever: Benefit Cosmetics-You Rebel. He played it off like he'd be a little "fruity" if he put it on. But a few days ago he came into the living room looking unusually radiant and handsome...he admitted to loving the product. He is now one less man that is suffering from this "man theory" about tinted moisturizers. Guys: Tinted moisturizers make u look hot and feel good. Check out some of my favorites that any guy could keep in his dopp kit!

Benefit: You Rebel, Philosophy: Supernatural, Organic Wear, Aveeno

We all look sexier sun-kissed. We also all look sexier with a little hydration. Girls: you know this, Guys: listen and learn!

My travels

Living on two different coasts is beginning to get difficult. Although I love being a Cali girl, my heart remains in Boston, so I took a trip home recently. The best part is, we got to drive across the country, making this the second time I've done the coast to coast drive, and I recommend it to anyone who loves Roadtrips!

So many random/beautiful/hilarious pit stops were taken both times, but I undoubtedly have my favorites.  If you're ever in...

Ridiculious&Random
Iowa. (Heaven forbid) Hit up the World's Largest Truck Stop. I stopped here both times and it never gets old. If you stop here, don't forget to snap a picture with one of them truckers!
Pulling off the highway since it's totally a must see!
So what exactly were we supposed to do here?!
Beautiful
Grand Junction, CO. If you're ever driving on that game-like, twisty road from Denver to Vegas, a little R&R is what you're going to need, and that indeed I found. Check out Los Altos Bed & Breakfast. We stayed here because the rates were affordable and it's online reviews are 5 stars all around. Every bedroom is just off of the wrap-around porch which includes the most beautiful 360 degree views of western Colorado.
The B&B we stayed at!
Have you ever driven across the country?
